In 2020, a second sculpture dedicated to Los Seis de Boulder was created by sculpture project participants which will soon be installed at the site of the second bombing. It features a mosaic composition inspired by Juan Espinosa’s 1973 photographs of a BSA protest supported by UMAS students at CU Boulder, and reflects the ongoing solidarity and support of BIPOC students for each others struggles on campus.
This second sculpture was funded by the Boulder Arts Commission, the City of Boulder’s Human Relations Commission, the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts, the Center for Humanities and Arts at CU Boulder, the United Government of Graduate Students at CU Boulder, and the Office of Outreach and Engagement at CU Boulder.
